Pageant Coach

So many aren’t aware of the amazing scholarship programs available through pageant programs. In addition, I’ve seen the keen and gracious interview skills learned by girls which find these same young women amazing success in both the education and business world.

As a former Miss Teen California, I was actually not crowned. I was first runner-up, and as she was unable to fulfill her duties, I was honored to represent our state in Albuquerque in the Miss Teen USA program. Coincidentally, I also came in first runner-up as Miss Teen USA. The winner and I were actually roommates in our hotel in New Mexico. When we met, we were instant friends and remained connected through many years of college and beyond. She’s a strong, beautiful woman I’m proud to call friend.

Those two experiences paid for an entire year at a private university. Did I win? No. Did I gain amazing interview skills, yes. I went into pay my tuition bill and they informed me my entire first year (and books, and most of my housing) were paid by the scholarships from the pageant program.

That’s what the program creates:
~ solid women who love seeing the success of other women
~ great interview skills
~ a young woman who knows how to carry herself
~ an amazing opportunity for college scholarships
