Performing with Rita Moreno

Francisco and Stacey Martinez are most well known as the creators of the video series, The 2-Left Footer’s Guide to Dancing Salsa.

With backgrounds in ballroom, Latin, and jazz dancing, Francisco and Stacey Martinez have nearly 30 years of combined dance instruction experience.

Stacey was classically trained in ballet, jazz and tap and later ballroom dances. Her commercial television career started young as she was featured in many commercials and television shows and as regular on McDonalds commercials and American Bandstand. Francisco came to Los Angeles as a ballroom dance instructor and established a career in many Latin stage productions including “America, America” and “Rumba”. He has been featured in many commercials and music videos including Placido Domingo and Dwight Yokum.

Although they are well known for their weekly instruction at major colleges, their practical and personable teaching style is carried out daily in their studio though their personally trained instruction staff. Francisco and Stacey are sought out performers in many celebrity venues and have been featured in multiple commercials and television shows including Resurrection Boulevard and Mercedes Benz. In addition, they have performed at the Palladium, and live on stage at the Hollywood Bowl opening for Earth Wind & Fire.
